Founding and Early Days
The Catalyst Product Group is a family-owned fertilizer manufacturer and distributor based in the western United States specializing in Organic Fertilizers. Founded by Mark Turner in the early 90s, TCPG is widely credited as a pioneer in the organic industry. Mark grew up on a cotton farm in Buckeye, AZ, where he acquired extensive knowledge of farming and fertilizers. After the family farm was sold, he began exploring his own formulations and stumbled into organics.
Product Development and Market Impact
TCPG was first founded on two main products, Jenner 8 and Integrate, which are humic and fulvic acids derived from a mined mineral called leonardite. In the early 90s, these products were considered by some to be snake oils, but with Mark's efforts and quality formulas, he was able to trailblaze an entire market based around these products.
Growth and Expansion Of Organic Fertilizers
Fast forward over three decades, and The Catalyst Product Group has gone on to formulate some of the best organic and conventional fertilizers in the industry. All rooted in our original Jenner 8 and Integrate, TCPG has developed an entire line of fertilizers, inputs, and consulting that has allowed us to provide farmers with quality service and results for over 30 years.
